Made by MEL was born in 2021 from a desire to slow things down and create with intention.

Rooted in swimwear and activewear, the brand exists as a quiet response to overproduction, honoring mindful design, thoughtful craftsmanship, and a deep respect for nature.

Each piece is carefully imagined and produced in small quantities, allowing every collection to remain intimate, limited, and truly special, just like our customers.

Our fabrics are chosen with care. High-quality recycled materials are printed with long-lasting inks and designed to move with you. Printed styles are made from recycled polyester, while solid fabrics are crafted from Italian recycled nylon.

Nothing is wasted. The remnants of each collection are lovingly transformed into one-of-a-kind scrapinis, giving every scrap a second life.

Every Made by MEL piece is handmade in a studio in Puerto Rico, where sunlight, creativity, and intention meet.
