Sustainability

At Made by MEL, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do- from our use of recycled fabrics to our zero-waste practices, every piece is crafted with the health of the planet in mind. 

Materials:

• We use recycled polyester or nylon fabric for all our swimsuits, these fabrics are not only sustainable, but also extremely durable and of the best quality.

Zero waste designs:

• Fabric scraps are utilized to create scrunchies, headbands, and patchwork bikinis and active bras making unique, one-of-a-kind pieces.

Packaging:

• We use minimal packaging to reduce our environmental footprint. In your order, you'll most likely, a reusable bag (usually made with remnant fabrics of other projects) with your order inside, a printed care guide, a thank you card (printed in-house) and a cute, but practical gift we give to all our customers.⟡
